I like to capture a moment, usually an unexpected one and I use mainly printmaking, drawing and pen and ink.

I love the atmospheric qualities of etching and mezzotint for the way they capture the spontaneity of a drawing.

Old toys and puppets inspire me and musty old boxes full of secrets from the past.

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Printed Surface Decoration & Illustration from the University of East London and an MA in Children's Book Illlustration from Northumbria University.

I was nominated in the ‘Emerging Artists’ section of the NewcastleGateshead Art Fair in 2009 and I exhibit my work widely.
